My Favorite Place in the World

My favorite place in the whole world, would have to be the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas! I have only been there one time, and i will never forget it! My sophomore year of high school my friend Allison invited me to go along with her, and her parents. All i had to pay for was my passport! We had to take a plane from here to georgia, and then connecting from georgia to Florida, and then we got on a little tiny plane and took it to the Bahamas! I had waken up from sleeping on the plane, and i look out the window, and all i can see is clear waters! Never in my life had i seen something like this. I could see the beautiful coral under the water, and even see the marine life as well! Once we got to the airport, the area was not very nice, because we were not on Paradise Island yet (yes, thats it’s real name!). We were all tired, and hungry, and we decided to eat at a restaurant that was in our hotel. This restaurant was a buffet, and the price was $100 a person. The spread was amazing, there was steak and lobster, and seafood and all types of pasta and deserts, my eyes definately were bigger than my stomach! The first day we were there we explored the resort and walking through the great hall of the main hotel, we were blown away. Everything was gold and there were paintings everywhere. Once we got to the pools we when down a water slide that had SHARKS at the bottom! yes we were in a tube and they were on the other side of the glass, but it was still scary and amazing! The water slide looked like a mayan temple, along with other structures there as well! There were colors everywhere, beautful clear pure blue sky, a band playing live music all day, aquariums everywhere to enjoy! The hotels had nice restaurants in all of them, they were so amazing and nice and beautiful! I am for sure going to go back there some day!
